My journey of learning Spanish was fun.I had no knowledge of it before.I never know it was so important in our life today,until i came to CPCE and start doing spanish.I was never taught how to say the time in spanish,talking about my family, myself, weather etc.But now i am able to say the time,all about my family, myself,weather etc.It also provides ,me with the necessary guidance for Spanish lesson eg. with the use of the Mi theory and Affective filter theory will help the potential growth and development of learners.
This course has brought a new life into me,even though this is the first time i have been exposed to Spanish .This course contain areas which was very important such as Mi theory ,Affective filter etc.The use of videos ,recording were their to guide us through our learning which have been of great help to me and my colleagues.
The use of the computer to convey learning is one of the best ideas that have been introduce in teaching since it is of modern technology .Using the computer for the first time is amazing since the information is always on line for us to pratice .This is beneficial because of these reason.
(1. Even if the teacher is not in class you can go on line and abstract informationin order to pratice.
(2.When it comes to they pronounciation their were videos and recording to help you etc.
From the inception of this course i was scared,because i use to said to myself where a my going to begin from ,since i have knowledge about this subject but never the less i did not give up even though i was not so good i certain area.Iam happy that i have perused and opend my mind to learn spanish because am now enjoying doing Spanish.
Some of my faviourite tasks was making the pop-up book ,puppets,games related to spanish etc .I can say that opprtunities come once in a life time,and having been able to learn a new subject to gain new and better understanding is a great privilge,thus i can say honestly speaking i enjoy every thing so far since i have been exposed to new experiences.
I think doing this course was one of the best offered due to technological advancement in teaching today,it has a approach that is very fulfill, it give myself and colleagues the motivation to study and pursue spanish.
In conclusion i recommended that other teachers should adapt to this teaching style .since it is more beneficial ,interesting and provide a great opportunity ,thus students will be able to learn more.
